NEXY – The device
Nexy is the first product developed by Next Sight and released in 2017.
Nexy combines 3 components:
• Fundus camera
• Telemedicine platform
The fundus camera is made up of a next generation robotic retinal imaging system.
It is an affordable and exciting fully automated non-mydriatic fundus camera that ﬁts easily into any practice and captures crystal clear retinal photos.
The tablet is connected via wi-fi to the device: personal data are written there, images are visible and collected as soon as they are taken from the patient.
The telemedicine platform permits to send retina images for a remote consultation when an ophthalmologist is not available on site.
The ease of transport and the fully automated operation, combined with its built-in telemedicine platform, make it an ideal tool for implementation of mass screening programs, anywhere in the world.

PROTECTION OF PATIENT DATA
Nexy is GDPR compliant.
Patient sensitive data are secure thanks to the client-side data encryption.
This means that patient data are encrypted on the sender's side, before they are transmitted to a server such as acloud storage service*.
This client-side encryption guarantees secure privacy and GDPR compliance.
